It was a bit of touch and go as to the weather for Krista and Matt’s wedding. The days before had been overcast and rainy which is the last thing for any couple looking forward to their dream wedding.
As I arrived in Armagh the sky was not at all welcoming but there was a hint of brighter things to come. Finding Krista’s parents house however offered no promise of any hope at all!! lol Well I was warned by Krista that it was difficult to find. But what a lovely warm and inviting welcome I was given by Krista and her family when I finally rolled up around thirty minutes of searching.
When it was time for me to travel to Matt’s family I was once again met by smiles and a genuine warmth. And this really was the theme that was to permeate the marriage of Krista and Matt. What a joy it was for me personally to be invited to witness through photography the union of this couple their wee son Logan and their families at the ceremony of marriage.
Krista and Matt’s wedding package included the free pre wedding photo shot that provided a photo of their choice to be used as a signing frame placed at the entrance of the reception for guests to sign and write their wishes to the happy couple.
Here are a couple of photos from that session
Below are a selection of photos from the wedding day which you will agree shows a wonderful couple enjoying their life together. They chose the Whistledown Hotel in Warrenpoint, which was a great wedding venue, as it had a great reception and a park right behind the hotel that was a great location for the wedding photographs. The DVD slide show is here which is also beautiful.
